Darksiders III – launch week activation – Live streams

Darksiders 3 is a hack and slash, action-adventure game from Gunfire Games distributed by Koch Media in the Benelux. We were asked to create a campaign using only influencers on Twitch and YouTube to reach the core target group. In order to achieve this goal, we partnered with five influencers in the gaming scene, both big and small.

Lekker Spelen, GameMeneer, Toastman Games, Midnan and Gamekings all have a very dedicated fanbase (a total of 1.986.811 followers) which fit the game and audience perfectly. They were paid to make content involving Darksiders III and with some careful planning, every day during release week was covered with engaging content. Some influencers streamed the game for two to four hours, some set-up giveaways and others made video content for YouTube as well.

Results:
In total there were six live streams, two YouTube videos, two giveaways and a lot of promotional social media content. During this period different aspects of Darksiders III were shown to a lot of gamers.
