Logitech G & Blue Microphones

To position Logitech G and Blue as leaders in streaming & gaming we wanted to celebrate the hundreds of content creators who give their all to provide fans with weekly live-entertainment on Twitch. We reached out to Dutch Stream Awards organiser Blammo and Blue & Logitech G adopted the award show as main sponsor. This second edition of the Dutch Stream Awards had to be bigger and better. We supported Logitech G & Blue Microphones to elevate the DSA to the next level and get maximum exposure for both brands.

We introduced two new categories for the 2020 edition: Beste Production powered by Logitech G and Blue. A jury award; a jury of leaders in the field of sound, video and creativity handed out the award to the streamer with the best production value.

Secondly, we introduced the Best Newcomer award powered by Blue. An award for up and coming streamers who only started recently, over 140 streamers entered the competition. Fans could vote for their favourite new streamer till only three remained. Those three received a complete set-up makeover with new Blue and Logitech G gear, all documented in snackable video content hosted by Blue ambassador Daniel Lippens.

Cross Category there were 40 nominees and 10 winners. To make sure the winners would share their award proudly on their social media. We created next level awards: Gold Plated Blue Yeti X’s. These were prominently featured in the award show, we had them shipped overnight to all winners and posted on all winners social platforms the next day. Most still have the award visible in their streams.

The DSA was bigger and better than ever with 94.000 votes cast, 210.000 live views and over 2 million impressions across all platforms. Additionally the response from the Twitch-community was extremely positive
