The SIMS Spark’d PR

A reality TV show where the best Sims players in the world compete to show off their creations. On July 8th, EA announced a new series called The Sims Spark’d, contestants are given a particular goal, and a panel of three experts will judge their creations, with $100,000 in prize money on the line. The difference from other reality shows is instead of designing a dress, building with LEGO or baking an outlandish cake, they’ll be telling stories inside of The Sims 4.

We supported the announcement of The SIMS Spark’d, sending out a tailor made press release and using our strong network in entertainment to not only get coverage in specialised gaming media but in big mainstream media as well. With success!

With articles in news outlets like NU.nl, AD.nl and the Telegraaf we secured coverage in the biggest outlets in the Benelux and the news went viral. Popular entertainment shows like RTL Boulevard and SBS 6 Shownieuws covered The SIMS Spark’d. All placings combined we managed to reach a total potential of 40 million views!
